How can the lives of a young Catholic woman, an Umbanda practitioner, and an Evangelical man intertwine? Faith That Moves Rivers follows three youths from the Tapajós region who, grounded in distinct beliefs, find in faith a shared path: the fight to defend the forest, rivers, and life itself. Through prayers, chants, and rituals, their journeys reveal that faith is not merely devotion, but ancestral power and resistance in one of the deadliest countries for environmental defenders. The documentary invites reflection on how spirituality, in all its forms, can unite diverse voices in a shared mission: protecting our common home.
